The US is a national leader. We hate playing second fiddle to Europe. Well in this case, Europe can take it (although not by much) as the world leader in shoplifting. The US is in second place with a loss of $45.2 mil. Of course, 44% of that is employee theft and only 35% actual shoplifting.
